Sun shines on a successful Spring Bank Camp

Over the Spring Bank Holiday weekend we took 13 Scouts and 7 Cubs to Linnet Clough campsite near Stockport.

We arrived to find rather squelchy conditions underfoot after rain had fallen on the Friday, but thankfully the rest of the weekend was rain free. During three days of glorious sunshine we managed to cram in a walk around a local heritage trail, swimming, a campfire, The Cube and the campsite’s “it’s a knockout” style trophy competition.
All of those who attended had a great time and congratulations are in order for all of the Cubs and Scouts who achieved badges during the weekend.
Fingers are now crossed that the Scouts will be lucky enough to benefit from similar weather during their Summer Camp in Bournemouth.
